Polesden Lacey Playschool is a
non-profit making
registered charity.
We are affiliated to the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA),
and registered with OFSTED.
At each session, there are:

always 2 qualified members of staff (DPP NVQ),
-
at least one member of staff who is trained in First Aid,
-
a maximum of 18 children (for which 4 adults are present).
A voluntary committee runs the playschool
with all fees and funds that are raised by the committee
being used for the benefit of the children.
All parents are very welcome to join the committee; the only skill needed is enthusiasm!
OUR FACILITIES
We occupy our own classroom
at Polesden Lacey School that is especially designed for little people.
There are lots of different things to do.
We have access to the school hall, great for wet play and end of term "concerts".
We also use the playground and orchard, a super setting for our Sports Day.
The school grounds overlook greenbelt fields in which horses from our neighbouring riding school are usually grazing.
Quite a number of our children, but by no means all,
move on to Polesden lacey School.
We work closely with the school to make the transition as easy as possible for them.
